It's also a bit sporadic when it comes back to the charging station after a run. Other robots can follow the wall or trace the previous route however, the RX3 stumbles around until it gives up.
Another issue we faced was with its clever features, specifically the mapping function and digital keep-out zones. While it did a great job of keeping away from our furniture legs and shoes but it could easily be hung up by socks and cables, and it was not able to manage the tassels that adorn rug. We decided not to include the Scout RX3 in our Best Buy list. With a decent price and impressive performance it's a Scout RX3 is worth considering when you're looking for an alternative to the traditional uprights.
